The Fog of War

According to Wiktionary, the phrase "fog of war" is defined as "The uncertainty in situational awareness experienced by participants in military operations." Basically, it means an incomplete understanding of what's happening on the war front at any given moment, thus making battlefield decisions a bit "foggy."
This same analogy can be applied to what's happening in the war between Russia and Ukraine. For the purpose of this post, the "fog of war" applies not to the battlefield but to the fight to secure the general public's perception of this war. Wars are entered into by first capturing the hearts and minds of the people in order to gain the public's support and backing. In reality, it's a public relations campaign. Our governments are keenly aware of this and are adept at making this happen. If you bother to delve into history, you would have discovered that certain factions within the U.S. government have distorted facts and controlled the flow of information in order to draw the country into wars such as the Gulf of Tonkin incident which precipitated our involvement in the Vietnam War. And let's not forget about the US military and government coverup regarding the sinking of the USS Liberty at the hands of our supposed ally, Israel. With this sordid history in mind and the ongoing manipulation of public sentiment by Western governments, Ukraine is universally portrayed as the victimized nation while Russia is portrayed as the invading aggressor nation by the USA and her NATO allies. This false portrayal buttresses public support for sending BILLIONS of taxpayer dollars in US military aid and hardware to Ukraine. Such a narrative could not be further from the truth despite what we are being told to believe. It's beyond the scope of this post to detail the history of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine but here are a couple of videos to summarize what has led up to this current conflict:

Peace Was Never the Goal
If you presume that promoting lasting peace is the goal of all governments, your presumption is unwarranted. Peace treaties are not usually worth the paper they're signed on. Just ask former German Chancellor, Angela Merkel. She should know and she has revealed what she knows regarding broken treaties between Ukraine and Russia.
Only as a means to buy more time for war....

Glad you asked. Unless you live in Ukraine or Russia, what should this, if anything have to do with you? To be honest, I was reticent in publishing this post because of "the fog of war." Verifiable intelligence is hard to come by and what is claimed to be "factual" may turn out to be mere rumor or speculation. However, as history shows, regional wars such as the one between Russia and Ukraine have the potential to become world wars and thus I think the prudent thing to do is to inform you of the following information for your consideration. Ukraine acting as a proxy for the Western nations and the international bankers is losing the war – badly. The US and NATO are of course aware of this and have been trying to provoke Russia into taking military action that would justify direct military intervention by the NATO allies. Russia though, has not taken the bait and has refrained from doing anything militarily that would provoke direct NATO involvement. Thus NATO has a dilemma. Either watch Ukraine slowly but surely lose the war or somehow become directly involved to salvage decades of Western interests and investments in Ukraine and ultimately overthrow the Russian government. It's my belief that NATO has no choice but to pursue the latter option. The following news story by Hal Turner fleshes this out in more detail as to how this might be accomplished.
If Mr. Turner's intelligence information is true and his analyses and conclusion of what can possibly happen are accurate, this regional conflict could easily erupt into a worldwide conflict replete with the use of nuclear weapons. If so, the sanctuary of your living room wherever you live, may not be so safe and secure. Thus, I feel compelled to share this with you even though his predictive scenario may not come to pass. I hope it doesn't but if it does, consider yourself forewarned.
However, if the watchman sees the sword coming but doesn’t blow the trumpet, so that the people aren’t warned, and the sword comes and takes away their lives, then they have been taken away because of their iniquity, but I will hold the watchman accountable for their blood.” Ezekiel 33:6
First Things First. Get Right With God.
6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.8 All these are the beginning of birth pains. Matthew 24:6-8
