The Fourth Horseman

The Fourth Horseman
7 When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!”8 And I looked, and behold, a pale horse! And its rider's name was Death, and Hades followed him. And they were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by wild beasts of the earth. Revelation 6:7-8

A Pale Horse Cometh This Way

For the record, I don't believe we are now faced with the arrival of the Fourth Horseman. But the rider whose name is Death is headed our way. ETA unknown. What is known is that it will have authority over a fourth of the earth bringing death and destruction. The earth's current population is a little over 8 billion people. If a fourth of the earth refers to the earth's population, then Death will affect 2 billion people. However, if a fourth of the earth refers to location, then a fourth of the land mass somewhere on this planet will be under Death's authority. Either possibility is unthinkable but think we must, given the trend of the war between Russia and Ukraine. A broadening of this war to a larger scale, perhaps even a global conflict, could easily result in death by the sword, famine, and pestilence.

No Diplomatic Solution Means War

Given that the West had bargained unfaithfully and had no intention of abiding by the Minsk agreements as referenced in my last post, Russia won't be fooled again and has no intention of pulling up a seat at the bargaining table. Since the NATO alliance can't be trusted, there is no peaceful solution. Unless NATO blinks, there will only be one victor and it will come at the cost of more bloodshed. The only question is, will the blood that's shed, involve other countries entering the war? I think the answer is in the affirmative as the article below details. Although it was published at the beginning of this year, its relevance remains undiminished.

But only cockroaches might live if the Ukrainian conflict erupts into Armageddon. Steven Starr, who regularly lectures students about the realities of modern nuclear war, is shocked by how naïve young people these days are.
“They really have no idea what a nuclear weapon is or what a nuclear war would mean,” Starr said. “It’s like a piece of the sun. And when it detonates, in one second it will create a fireball, and the surface of the fireball is actually hotter than the surface of the sun. If you happen to be beneath that, you’ll be vaporized.”

Predictive Programming?

Predictive Programming is theory that the government or other higher-ups are using fictional movies or books as a mass mind control tool to make the population more accepting of planned future events. This was first described and proposed by researcher Alan Watt who defines Predictive programming as “Predictive programming is a subtle form of psychological conditioning provided by the media to acquaint the public with planned societal changes to be implemented by our leaders. If and when these changes are put through, the public will already be familiarized with them and will accept them as natural progressions, thus lessening possible public resistance and commotion.” (Wood) OSU Website

Safety of Abiding in the Presence of God

Psalm 91 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”

3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
And from the perilous pestilence.
4 He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

7 A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
8 Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.

9 Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
10 No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
11 For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
12 In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.

14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him,
And show him My salvation.”
