Flying the Friendly (but not so safe) Skies?

Air Travel Now:

From the Washington Post, 1/6/22

Thursday brought more frustrating news for airlines and their customers with more than 2,100 U.S. flight cancellations as carriers continued efforts to restore flight networks hobbled by bad weather and staffing shortages brought on by coronavirus infections.

Why is it assumed that these flight cancellations due to staffing shortages are "brought on by coronavirus infections?" Isn't that puzzling given the high percentage of flight crews who are fully vaccinated? Of course, we now know that being vaccinated does not prevent one from contracting Covid-19 but could it be that the vaccine instead of the virus is the cause of these sicknesses that are causing these staffing shortages?

Greg Pearson, a commercial airline pilot based in Hawaii, speaks out against the covid jabs and states that pilots who have been vaccinated are experiencing adverse side effects of the jab which could jeopardize flight safety.

There's a number of pilots out there that are fearful to come forward and speak. They're fearful of retribution. There's guys that are going to work with crushing pains in their chests and their heads.
